location: the hotel was so close to the lake, and central keswick where there are lots of dining and shopping options. lots of restaurants to eat close by, like thyme bistro that was only 10 minutes' walk away. our room was good sized and tidy and had an electric kettle, a fridge, and a microwave oven. it looked out to mountain.

I had a blast hiking, skiing, and cycling in the area. Loved the terrace and free WiFi. The ski storage and garden were a bonus. Cat Bells and Buttermere, amazing!
Oh, how I enjoyed climbing up and down the steep, narrow staircase to get to the attic bedroom with a separate toilet. So fun!

Stayed at a spacious house with stunning views of the park and hills. Ian greeted us upon arrival and provided helpful information. Well-stocked kitchen with ample crockery and multiple appliances. Perfect for large groups with five bedrooms, each having its own ensuite. Convenient location near the lake and town center. Comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. Great option for a big party. Cons: Nothing to mention. .

The rooms at Berkeley House were cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved waking up to the breathtaking mountain view from the patio in my room. The flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Having a private bathroom in each room was convenient and added an extra level of comfort. The bed linen and towels provided were clean and of good quality, ensuring a restful sleep.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the seating area in the rooms, but others might still find it enjoyable.
